Obituary of Joyce Marlene Campbell
Joyce Marlene Campbell (nee Arnold)
On February 23, 2025, in her 93rd year, Joyce Marlene Campbell unwillingly succumbed to her battle with pneumonia, only days before her 75th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her children Linda and Jim Bolton, Murray and Brenda Campbell, Karen Kirby, Sandra and Jim Woodiwiss, and Mike and Kathleen Campbell, her siblings Paul and Barb Arnold, Eugene Arnold, and in-laws Marilyn Arnold, Ellwood and Lorretta Cambell, and Marilyn and Jim Cooley. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Campbell (2012), her daughter Nancy Cambell (1969), her son-in-law Robert Kirby (2008), sister and brother-in-law June (2005) and George (2001) Kasabov, brother Glen Arnold (2013), sisters-in-law Shirley Arnold (1994) and Evelyn Arnold (2013). Also predeceased by in-laws Les and Donna Campbell, and Allen and Adele Campbell. Joyce will be sorely missed by her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Sadly, she passed away before meeting her 19th great-grandchild due in July.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Saturday March 1, 2025, from 10:00am until 12:00pm and 2:00pm until 4:00pm. A private family interment and service at Poplar Hill Cemetery, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the compassionate nurses and doctors on the first floor of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, the caring and friendly staff at Seasons Strathroy Retirement Community, and to mom’s exceptional Paramed PSW Julie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Joyce.
