In Loving Memory of Christopher J Buchner
March 26, 1954 – February 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher J Buchner on February 17, 2025. Chris was a devoted husband, a cherished family member, and a beloved friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joanne Buchner, his brother Rodney Buchner, and his nieces Rebecca Wiggins, and Ashley Buchner as well as his nephew Chris L. Buchner. He was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and John Buchner.

Chris served proudly for 25 years as a Captain in the Canadian Air Force, where he dedicated his skills as an engineer, holding a Bachelor of Science Applied in Engineering. He was a man of incredible wisdom, strength, and kindness—someone you could turn to for anything, because there was nothing he couldn't do. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM, on February 21st, 2025, at Denning’s Funeral Home, 183 Broad St, Parkhill, ON. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed virtually through the tribute page.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Toronto Humane Society (donate here), honoring Chris’s deep love for animals.

Chris’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will forever be missed but never forgotten.
