Cor was born in Riel, The Netherlands on January 27, 1924, to Maria and Kees Berrevoets. She came to Canada and married Peter in June of 1955 in St. Christopher’s Church. Family and church were everything to Cor. She sang in the St. Christopher’s Church choir and was a member of the CWL for many, many years. Cor got her drivers license before many women of her generation. Sundays were special days when her children and grandchildren and their friends would gather at her home for Dutch soup and a sandwich.
A heartfelt thank you to Jeanne (Jan) Vermeer for your steadfast love and support for all these years. Mom considered you a daughter.
The family would also like to extend a very special thank you to all of the wonderful and caring staff at Watford Quality Care Centre to the compassion shown to Cor and her family during her time there.
A Private visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
In memory of Cor, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
