Obituary of Beatrice Juanita Black

Peacefully with family by her side, at Watford Quality Care, on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, Beatrice Black (nee McCabe) in her 101st year. 

Loving wife of the late Leonard Black (1966).  Cherished mother of Evelyn (Douglas) MacGregor and Arnold (Hedy) Black.  Devoted Grandmother of  Scott (Marian) MacGregor, Paul (Jennifer) MacGregor, Brian (Samantha) MacGregor, Tara (Ryan) Brydges and the late John.  "GG" of Bronwyn, Gavin, Lauren, Aidan, Carter, Ian and Emily.  Loving sister Ida Swartz.   Predeceased by her brothers David, John and his wife Betty.  

Beatrice will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.  

Beatrice was known for her passion and love for quilting and needlework and spent many hours dedicating her time to create beautiful pieces that will be cherished from all.  

A private family funeral will be held.   Interment in Alvinston Cemetery.  

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, details to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Watford Quality Care Residents Fund, Hope United Church or  Children's Health Foundation would be acknowledged by the family.
